Description

Kandahar Arghandab #1 Regular landrace seeds were expertly-selected from prime cannabis phenotypes at their source in Kandahar, Afghanistan, by ethnobotanical researcher Landrace Warden. These particular seeds from Arghandab District in Kandahar Province are from broad-leaved indica plants with a range of colourful variants amongst its phenotypes.

Kandahar Arghandab #1 landrace seeds are best grown outdoors where they display very good resistance to heat, cold, drought and windy conditions. They take a period of 10 – 12 weeks to complete flowering and are therefore recommended for regions that do not suffer with heavy autumn rain. These plants have a dominant scent of extremely earthy, nutty and spicy smells with subtle hints of sweetness which is commonly encountered in Kandahar’s Hashish. Within population from which these seeds were harvested were a generous number of plants exuding offensive, acrid, clove and garlic smells along with rich, creamy dairy and some putrid notes on the finish.

The flavour is that of garlic and black pepper and the smoke is very thick and rich. The effect is rather medicinal – calm, happy and relaxing.

N.B. Landrace Warden collection packs have been created in order to preserve Landrace and Heirloom Genetics, protect biodiversity, empower indigenous cultivation groups, and give back to the the superintendents of ancestral cannabis origin.
