40 states, plus the District of Columbia and several U.S. territories, allow medical cannabis use with a doctor’s recommendation, and many allow cultivation for patients.

Fully Legal Countries: Growing cannabis for recreational use is permitted in several countries, including Canada, Georgia, Germany, Luxembourg, Malta, South Africa, and Uruguay.
Australia: In Australia, the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) allows for the recreational use and cultivation of cannabis.
